Az 1957-es\u00a0<em>Csatorna vil\u00e1gszerte<\/em>\u00a0ismertt\u00e9 tette nev\u00e9t \u00e9s a cannes-i filmfesztiv\u00e1lon elnyerte a zs\u0171ri k\u00fcl\u00f6nd\u00edj\u00e1t. Az 1944-es vars\u00f3i felkel\u00e9s idej\u00e9n j\u00e1tsz\u00f3d\u00f3 filmben m\u00e1r megjelentek az \u00e9letm\u0171v\u00e9n v\u00e9gigvonul\u00f3 t\u00e9m\u00e1k: a hamis m\u00edtoszok, a c\u00e9ltalan, \u00e9rtelmetlen h\u0151siess\u00e9g. A h\u00e1bor\u00fas tril\u00f3gia harmadik r\u00e9sze a Jerzy Andrzejewski reg\u00e9nye alapj\u00e1n k\u00e9sz\u00fclt\u00a0<em>Hamu \u00e9s gy\u00e9m\u00e1nt<\/em>\u00a0(1958). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wajna a sz\u00fcks\u00e9g\u00e1llapot bevezet\u00e9se ut\u00e1n P\u00e1rizsba k\u00f6lt\u00f6z\u00f6tt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A rendez\u0151 a sz\u00fcks\u00e9g\u00e1llapot 1981. decemberi bevezet\u00e9se ut\u00e1n hivatalosan nem emigr\u00e1lt, de P\u00e1rizsba k\u00f6lt\u00f6z\u00f6tt. T\u00fal a nyolcvanon, 2007-ben szem\u00e9lyes dr\u00e1m\u00e1t forgatott a katyni v\u00e9rengz\u00e9sr\u0151l, amelynek apja is \u00e1ldozatul esett. A Katyn (<em>Az \u00edg\u00e9ret f\u00f6ldje<\/em>, a\u00a0<em>Wilk\u00f3i kisasszonyok<\/em>\u00a0\u00e9s a\u00a0<em>Vasember<\/em>\u00a0ut\u00e1n) negyedik Oscar-jel\u00f6lt filmje lett. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrzej Wajda m\u0171v\u00e9szet\u00e9t vil\u00e1gszerte sz\u00e1mtalan d\u00edjjal ismert\u00e9k el.
